最近超迷棒棒堂二軍

So 棒棒堂二軍 (公主幫+宅男塾) came out with 2 EPs in the middle of July. I had always been planning to support them and buy the EPs, but I didn't actually start "liking" them until I heard 冒險世界 as performed by both groups. I was in Japan at the time, but I watched the MVs on YT & I got my mom to buy their CDs while she was in TW.

I really became a fan of 宅男塾 [Boys in House//Elite of Otaku]] since their style is more "Cool", their version of 冒險世界 was more to my liking (techno), and the members slowly captured my heart :D [the last part came after I started watching more 模范棒棒堂 after I got back home]. Originally, when I found out about 二軍.. around the time they went from 14棒 to 10棒, I liked 公主幫 [[Knights of Princess]] more.. they were cuter at first and whatnot.. But as I said, after learning more about the groups and watching more 模范棒棒堂, I realized that 宅男塾 was cooler imho.

My order of liking the guys:
宅男塾 -
1. 小祿 (His singing really captured my heart)
2. 李銓 (KUSO王.. Really makes the show that much funnier XD)
3. 牙膏 (I originally thought TP was the ugliest guy ever and hated his guts, but after watching him work really hard for 二軍 and such, I changed my mind)
4. TERRY (He's pretty cool.. just not my type really)
5. 鮪魚 (I liked him more before, but after watching the latest episodes, I found that he was really not very cool)

公主幫
1. 野戰 (He sings too well!)
2. 翰獎 (Too under-appreciated, even though he's a little hard to get along with.. he's got a lot of talent)
3. 毛弟 (He's way too popular.. and I think 王子 is about 10x cooler than him.. but he's still kind of cute & is a good actor)
4. 阿本 (He was the first 棒棒堂男孩 I ever saw. My cousin really liked him, and I　also thought he was pretty cute.. but he's a little too full of himself)
5. 小馬 (I feel like he tries to act cool a little too much.. I know he has been trying very hard lately, but yeah..)

I tried to rank them out of 10, but I can't do it.. I don't think any of them deserves to be left behind.. and in an ideal world, they would just make 2 groups as is now... but that's not what happens.. ;-;.

So the real reason I'm posting now is because I'm quite depressed about how they already decided the final members of 二軍. Yeah, I thought it was supposed to be 8/28.. but I guess that's when they'll show the episode on Channel[V]. But they taped the episode yesterday night in TW.. In the end, it's based on popularity.. (the order of popularity): 毛弟, 阿本, 小祿, 鮪魚, 小馬, 李銓, 野戰, Terry, 翰獎, 牙膏. They chose the top 7 (instead of 5 like they originally planned).. thus Terry, 翰獎, 牙膏 weren't picked. They may not have been my favorites or top choices for 二軍, but I still don't want to see them go.

Warner Music TW said that Terry isn't really fit to be in a band.. and that he has the most ability to go solo..; 翰獎 has a lot of talent, but he hasn't exactly "prepared" enough and his talents don't really show yet.. after more "preparation", he would definitely have a chance.. 牙膏 has been working very hard and it's shown, however there isn't really anything "special" about him right now.. and he should try to find what it is that makes him different.

I agree with most of what Warner Music said.. but I still don't want them to go. I won't say that I　would have rather have XX or YY not be picked.. since they've already picked the 7 people, me saying something wouldn't do anything. And I will support 二軍 no matter what happens. They've worked hard (all 10 of them), and the 7 who have been picked　do deserve to be picked. All of them deserve it. So I hope that the 3 who weren't picked will keep working hard and not let this disappoint them too much.

I'm not sure if they are going to change the whole cast of 模范棒棒堂.. I hope not. But I hope that Terry, 翰獎, 牙膏 have another chance. I think that Terry should go solo, no matter if it's as a singer, a dancer, or what. I think that 翰獎, 牙膏 should work hard and keep up with their dancing and singing and also work hard on the show (for however long they're allowed to stick with it).

As for the 7 who have been picked, as I said, I think they do deserve it. Congratulations. However, Warner Music came up with another obstacle. Obviously it's not that they don't want 棒棒堂二軍 to succeed.. they just want them to be able to differentiate themselves from LollipopBBT (6棒). So, each of the 7 who have been picked now have to each learn a different instrument. 李銓 (drums) and 阿本 (keyboard) are the only ones who have played instruments before. I know 李銓 drums really well, though self-taught.. I don't know about 阿本 though.. As for the other 5, they will have to pick up an instrument and be able to play decently by the end of this year. From experience, learning an instrument is pretty hard. Having to do it within a certain period of time? It will be hard, but I think that they will be able to pull it off. Warner Music said that if by the end of the year any ONE of the members cannot play an instrument decently, the whole group will not be able to release CD(s). Now the members have even more pressure.

I really wish everyone the best of luck. Esp. Terry who wasn't picked.. but has been on the show since the very beginning. But also to everyone else.. whether he was picked or not.

最近好像有一點迷上棒棒堂。。。哈哈~在開玩笑啦~那個節目真的太傻了。。Yeah, I get a kick out of watching them attempt to sing, dance, and/or act. Well, they can -for the most part- dance pretty well (as in they don't suck).. but 99$ of them really do fail at singing.. For example, apparently Peter tried to make up a song for the "individual talent" thing, and his lyrics were "12345678-87654321" . . . yeahh..

Anyways, it's really just a silly show that's apparently supposed to be a bunch of cute/hot guys showing off and being hot/cute.. except for the fact that at least 90% are pretty unattractive.. Yeah O___O;. I see hotter guys walking down a street in Taiwan than watching that show XDXDXD. But I do like 王子 and Peter for some reason.. X3.

And yey for useless posts :D.

I'm going to Japan this summer~ I just found out today that I got into that exchange program to Japan for this summer, so yeah :D. 'Course I'll be working my ass off trying to scrounge up money before then.. but I'm really excited!

Now I need to find out what movies are coming out (besides HYD final.. which I'm going to try and go see) and whatever else is coming out while I'm in Japan!

So much stuff has happened to me so far in life.. Both good and bad. So much that I never realize how good some things are. usually until after they are gone. But I'm glad to say that this is one time I realized it before it was gone: a friendship that has existed for only a short time, but one that I hope will stay with us. Thank you.

In other news, I've finished watching 3 doramas this weekend:

~原來我不帥 (Yuan Lai Wo Bu Shuai/So I'm Not Handsome): A Taiwanese Drama featuring JJ Lin, Nicky Lee, and other pretty well-known actors/singers/idols. Xiao Zhuang, played by JJ, is your average college student.. but he's grown up thinking that he is very handsome (from what his mother and other people in his hometown have said). Of course, when he finds out that he isn't that handsome and is even turned down by a girl he likes because of the sheer fact that "he is too ugly", he is extremely shocked and distraught. The drama follows him and his friends in their escapades regarding love, a bird-racing club, and various other drama.

I really had a hard time believing that everyone thought JJ was so ugly --;;. Because, well, he isn't. Other than that though, he did a great job playing the happy-go-lucky Xiao Zhuang and acted better than I had expected him to ^^. Overall the story was quite cliche-- except for the DID (otherwise known as MPD) girlfriend of Si Si [she got taken over by an alien when she was 12, and now lives with both the human and alien identities in her body]. However, it was extremely cute and had some great music :D.

~正しい王子のつくり方 (Tadashii Ouji no Tsukurikata/The Correct Way to Produce a Price): A Japanese dorama featuring Yanagi Koutarou, Takki, Kiriyama Renn, Aiba Hiroki, a bunch of girls I don't know, etc. Basically, the main character (forgot her name..) goes to an all-girls school.. but one day she and her friends go to school and find that her classroom has been invaded by guys. Turns out they would be joining her class. They were excited to have guys around (to fall in love with, etc), but unfortunately for them.. these guys turned out to be total creeps or weirdos [including a cell phone nerd, an egotistical rich kid, a yakuza member, etc]. So the girls decide to "produce" these guys into princes-- to change their outer (and inner) traits and make them into "princes". For some, the transformation is quick.. and for others, it isn't. The drama follows their misadventures of prince production XD.

Honestly, I don't think I would have watched this had Takki not been in it. It was a cute little drama.. but didn't have much substance.. I'm sorry to say. Of course, the myu boys were awesome in it (esp Takki). And I enjoyed it quite a lot :D.

~薔薇のない花や (Bara no Nai Hanaya/~The flower shop without Roses): A Japanese dorama featuring one of the guys from SMAP, some pretty famous actor-lady, Matsuda Shota, etc. A real drama. Full of twists, surprises, etc. Shiomi Eiji, played by the SMAP guy, is a single father raising his daughter, Shizuku, after his wife dies in childbirth. He owns a flower shop (also named Shizuku) and though he doesn't have much money, he lives a good life. In comes Shirato Mio, played by the lady, a pretty but blind young lady.. it turns out that she's under orders from her boss to act this part and make Shiomi fall for her and then leave him, heartbroken.

This dorama was really sad. Up until the very end. It kept me on edge the whole time, and I don't think I've EVER cried that much except when I was watching this. I mean, whenever you thought that the two would get together or something.. some twist of fate comes along and breaks up everything. I really respect the character of Shiomi Eiji.. he's such a good guy who helps everyone no matter what.. and I wish I could be like him *sigh*. I feel like even though this drama was a little more dramatic than what happens in life, it was really well written, directed, acted, etc.. and it made me feel as if something like this really could happen. Each of the characters was unique and contributed to the show in his/her own way.. even the minor minor characters. Definitely one of if not my favorite dorama.

A movie about a group of MIT students who counted cards and won big in Vegas.

I did get to see the movie opening weekend.. though after a bunch of complaining and drama.. but I saw it. And I am glad I got to see it. Even if it required a bunch of running around and "strategical maneuvers".

It was a good movie. The drama was very much forced.. and it annoyed me. But the overall story was pretty good and I enjoyed [most of] the characters and acting ^-^. It was better than I had expected it to be :D. And my opinion of MIT has gone up (from its previous almost rock-bottom status XD). However, I wish they had kept the main character as an asian guy.. instead of changing it to a white guy. But I did enjoy the original "big player"'s cameo in the movie ^____^.

Overall, I pretty much loved the movie. And I don't regret having to go through so much to get to see it opening weekend :3.

[By the way.. a teacher at my school was actually the original founder of the blackjack/whatever team at MIT]

Anyways. NY tomorrow. Decided not to go to Manhattan (as in: no Asahiya, no Book Off, no Kinokuniya).. since I want to save some money. So we're going to go to Flushing.. and that's it, unless if my dad wants to go to Chinatown I guess..

Ahhhhh. I just got home from my YFU (exchange prgm) interview.. I didn't do as well as I'd hoped.. but they were very weird/interesting questions *swts* (ie what quirks would your friends say you had?... wtf?) yeahh... I came off really studious apparently.. Is that a good thing? I hope so.

I really hope I get in :X. And hope that the interviewer lady didn't think I was a total weirdo and creep *swts*. I am a lot quieter when I'm nervous >___<;;;;;. *swts*.

Just stayed up all night watching Velvet Goldmine again ♥. IMO, Ewan McGregor is his hottest as Curt Wild .. *-*.

Anyways, I found this article on that scene with Christian Bale (*cough* that one) where he says: "I was f**king Christian Bale up the a**e and the crew was filming... [for a while].. Then I said, 'I'm sure I would have come by now.' I glanced back and saw the crew packing up and walking away! I think TODD (HAYNES) hadn't wanted to interrupt us....Christian's never written to me. He never phones anymore."

XD. I love Ewan McGregor. It also seems that he'll be playing as Jim Carrey's lover in jail in I love you Phillip Morris. As an aside, he also played another gay character in Scenes of a Sexual Nature. Oh man, Ewan McGregor, you amuse me.. so much.

.... Reita from Gazette has the same birthday as me... and Mizuki (Hajime) [May 27]. *blink blink*. O___O. That's kinda cool.. considering that I think Reita's awesome [and really hot].

XD. I'm getting into them a lot though.. cuz they can sing, and look really hot. Most of the time. As you probably inferred from above, my favorite is Reita <3. Yay for new obsessions!

..Other than that. I can't wait 'til this week is over. Thank goodness tomorrow's friday. Or else I would literally kill myself-- I'm so not stable right now *swts*. The next person who mentions psats in my presence (yes this includes on my flist) is going to be murdered by the pair of hands currently typing this eljay entry. I'm really sick of hearing about it.. but more so than that, I'm sick of thinking about it. Seriously. I'm not even kidding. I'm done with psats. and don't want to think about them anymore.

This is what's going to happen: I'm going to stop thinking, hearing, and being bothered by others about psats. I'm going to review/study for march. I'm going to pass the sats. I'm going to not care about the sats.

No more psat business. No more chem lab business either.

Launcher project for Physics...

So yeah... the physics teacher is being a total dumbass.. it's pissing me off. But other than that/// after maybe 5 hours of collaborating and working towards finding a solution to our launcher assignment, we came up with the simplest idea of just doing a slingshot... it works great. I'm glad there's no more arguing and bickering between us over the ideas and what will work. I think it'll be okay-- I don't want or need extra credit.. it'd be nice, but as long as I get my 40/40 I'm good!

Yay. That's about it. that project has been giving me a headache ofr a while now, so I'm just extremely glad our idea works.. and that we don't need to think anymore XD.

Yay. Now, to watch Boys Love (Cinema edition) and hang out by myself (and do homework... unfortunately, too)

Other than that. I'm a little tired... I just finished a take-home test (that wasn't open note.. I wonder how many people besides me and my friend actually didn't look at their notes?) Yeah. I'm really tired now. But I actually finished all my homework tonight XD. Even if tonight was a horrible night for reasons not to be stated for the moment. Anyways. That's that. And it's almost time for me to go to sleep...

I started watching Rikkai serv.2~~~~~~~~ (Myu!) I love that I can change the compy DVD player to region 2 (I think i'll leave it on region 2 since I can just watch region 1 DVDs on the DVD player downstairs :P.) Now I understand why Takagi Shinpei is loved... he's not such a bad Momo XD. Anyways. More on RikkaiMyu2 after I A. watch more B. can form coherent thoughts.

*EDIT* Can anyone tell me who ripped RikkaiMyu2? :O. I can't find the link anymore? :X:X:X.. thanks.
